Speed over everything
In an emergency, minutes decide how much damage gets done. Every decision we make is weighed against one question: does this get a real tradesperson to the door faster?
About EmergencyLines
We're building the UK's free-to-use dispatch system for emergency trades: a verified local tradesperson on the way within the hour, with nothing more than a postcode and a number.
Our mission
On a national scale, the UK simply doesn't have a free-for-domestic-use dispatch service for emergency trades. We're building it.
When something floods, sparks or stops working at the worst possible moment, finding a trustworthy tradesperson fast is far harder than it should be. Our job is to take all of that complexity and hide it, so getting real, local help is as easy as it could possibly be, for anyone, anywhere.
Why us
EmergencyLines is a small, focused team, and it's completely free for homeowners in an emergency. No membership, no enquiry fee, no catch. You only ever pay the tradesperson, directly, for the work they do.
The promise underneath everything is simple: a local tradesperson dispatched within one hour of every call. It isn't a slogan bolted on afterwards. It's the reason the whole thing is built the way it is, and it's something no one else in the UK can credibly offer.
Being small is the point. With no big overheads to carry and no bidding war to run between trades, we can stay lean enough to actually keep that promise, day or night, every day of the year.
Values & principles
These aren't poster slogans. They're the rules we actually build to. When a decision is hard, these are what we fall back on.
In an emergency, minutes decide how much damage gets done. Every decision we make is weighed against one question: does this get a real tradesperson to the door faster?
A burst pipe at 2am should never come with a paywall. Finding help here is free for homeowners, and it always will be. The only money that changes hands goes to the person who fixes the problem.
No call centres, no chatbots, no middleman sitting between you and the person who fixes the problem. We hand you a number and you speak to the trade directly.
Every tradesperson on the network is checked before they ever pick up your call. Trust is earned at the door, but it starts with the work we do before anyone is connected to you.
The fastest help is the help that's already nearby. We dispatch the closest available tradesperson to you, never the one who paid the most to be seen.
Free to enquire, clear about what happens next, and upfront when we genuinely can't help. No tricks, no lock-in, no small print designed to catch you out.
"Help in an emergency shouldn't come down to who you know or what you can pay. It should just be there."
The human bit
EmergencyLines was founded by Anthony Audet on 12.09.2025, out of a frustration just about everyone shares: the moment you most need help at home, the system seems to work against you, not for you.
The aim was never another lead-generation middleman or a glossy directory. It was to build the missing piece and then hand it to homeowners for free. A clear promise, a real service, and a stubborn belief that this is how it should have worked all along.
Enter your postcode and we'll connect you to the nearest available, verified tradesperson, usually in under a minute.
It came with your list.
