EmergencyLines
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of this website, which is operated by Optqo Framework s.r.o. (“GetTheCall,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) under the EmergencyLines trading name. By using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1What This Website Does
This website is a call dispatch platform. It displays a phone number that connects you directly to an independent local emergency trade contractor (“Service Provider”) in your area. GetTheCall does not perform emergency trade services, offer emergency trade advice, or act as a emergency trade contractor in any capacity.
Any content, descriptions, or imagery on this website is generic and illustrative only. It is intended solely to help you initiate contact with a Service Provider.
2Call Recording
Calls are recorded and automatically analysed under our legitimate interests in verifying bookings and preventing fraud. See our Privacy Policy for how long recordings and transcripts are kept.
Where the connected Service Provider clearly declines because the request is outside an accepted legal or certification, service or geographic, equipment or job-type, or safety or access scope, the Platform may use two automated checks against the transcript to offer a recovery route. If they consistently agree on transcript evidence, the same Service Provider and telephone are temporarily excluded from that caller's recovery episode and you may receive a redial or access-code text. Ambiguous or failed analysis does not trigger this automated recovery, and you may contact us for human help.
3The Service Provider Relationship
The Service Provider you are connected with is an independent contractor. They are not employed by, contracted by, or controlled by GetTheCall. Any quote, estimate, visit, inspection, or work carried out is solely the responsibility of the Service Provider.
All pricing, scope of work, materials, timelines, warranties, and contractual obligations are governed exclusively by your agreement with the Service Provider. GetTheCall is not a party to that agreement.
The Service Provider may decline to provide service at their discretion. GetTheCall has no control over such decisions.
4Promotional Language — “No Upfront Costs”
This website may display the phrase “No upfront costs” or similar promotional language. This phrase has a specific meaning in the context of this platform:
This phrase does not mean that the Service Provider's services are free of charge, nor does it mean that no callout fee exists under any circumstances. A Service Provider may apply a callout or assessment fee at their sole discretion, subject to the following:
- Any such fee only becomes applicable once a Service Provider has attended your property at your request.
- If you proceed with the work, any callout fee is typically credited toward the final cost of the repair — effectively meaning no separate callout charge applies when work goes ahead.
- A callout fee may apply if a Service Provider attends and no work proceeds. This is determined entirely by the Service Provider, not by GetTheCall.
In all cases, you will be informed of any applicable fees by the Service Provider before work commences. No work starts without your explicit approval. GetTheCall has no role in setting, collecting, or enforcing any fees charged by a Service Provider.
5No Warranty from GetTheCall
GetTheCall provides no warranty — express or implied — regarding the quality of any emergency trade work, the conduct or reliability of any Service Provider, or the accuracy of any information presented on this website.
Any workmanship or product warranty is offered solely by the Service Provider under your direct agreement with them.
6Service Provider Certification & Liability
GetTheCall acts solely as a marketplace and dispatch platform connecting homeowners with independent tradespeople. While we require Service Providers operating in regulated trades (such as Gas and Electrical work) to hold all legally required certifications (e.g., Gas Safe or Part P), GetTheCall cannot definitively guarantee the ongoing validity, authenticity, or truthfulness of any certification or qualification claim made by a Service Provider. We simply connect the two parties and accept no liability whatsoever if a Service Provider misrepresents, falsifies, or lies about their credentials, skills, or legal standing.
7Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetTheCall shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the Service Provider's work or conduct, reliance on information on this website, temporary unavailability of the website, or any dispute between you and the Service Provider.
Your exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with any emergency trade work is against the Service Provider directly.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits GetTheCall's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8Prohibited Use
You agree not to use this website for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes, or to attempt to disrupt, copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the EmergencyLines system, branding, or design.
9Intellectual Property
All branding, system design, automation logic, and user interface elements on the EmergencyLines network are the property of Optqo Framework s.r.o. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.
10Privacy
Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it to understand how call data is handled.
11Automated & AI-Assisted Systems
This platform relies on automation and artificial-intelligence (“AI”) tools to operate. Among other things, these systems automatically analyse calls for booking verification and fraud prevention, and they may be used to handle, triage, draft, or respond to support enquiries, messages, and tickets. Some communications you receive may be generated or drafted, wholly or in part, by an automated system rather than written individually by a person.
Call classification may use Cloudflare-hosted models and a configured external model tier when the primary tier is unavailable. Consequential out-of-scope recovery requires consistent evidence from two models; model outage, disagreement, or ambiguity is not treated as an out-of-scope finding.
GetTheCall maintains safeguards around these systems, including automated checks, human review, and the ability to escalate any matter to a person. However, no automated or AI system is infallible, and such systems may occasionally make mistakes or misjudgements. Any automated or AI-generated message is provided for general assistance only and does not constitute professional, legal, or financial advice, nor advice from a emergency trade contractor.
12Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
13Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
