EmergencyLines
Privacy Policy
This website exists for one purpose only: to display a phone number so you can reach a local emergency trade contractor directly. This Privacy Policy explains what that means for your data — in plain terms.
1What We Collect
We do not collect any personal information from visitors to this website.
There are no forms, no sign-ups, no accounts, and no submission fields of any kind. The only action available on this website is clicking or dialling a phone number.
2How Calls Work
When you call the number displayed on this website, your call is connected directly to a local emergency trade contractor in your area.
Calls are recorded and automatically analysed under our legitimate interests in verifying bookings and preventing fraud. Recordings are held only for as long as needed for that purpose (normally up to around 10 days) and are then deleted; transcripts and call records are retained only for as long as necessary for billing, dispute resolution, and our legal obligations.
If a connected contractor clearly explains that the request is outside an accepted legal or certification, service or geographic, equipment or job-type, or safety or access scope, two automated checks may classify the call as out of scope. Only consistent results supported by a literal excerpt from the transcript can start recovery. The contractor's user identity and telephone are then excluded from that caller, line, and trade recovery episode for approximately one hour, and we may send the caller a text with redial or access-code instructions. Ambiguous, inconsistent, or unavailable analysis does not start automated recovery and may instead be referred for human handling.
This automated analysis, along with any support enquiry you choose to raise with us, may be handled using automated and AI-assisted tools. No automated system is infallible; human review and human escalation are always available, and you can reach a person at any time by email at office@emergencylines.uk.
3Cookies and Tracking
This website may use standard analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to measure basic traffic data, such as the number of visitors and pages viewed. This data is aggregated and anonymous — it does not identify you personally and is used solely to monitor website performance.
You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings.
4Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone. We collect no personal data through this website itself (there are no forms or sign-ups). The call data described in “How Calls Work” above is processed on our behalf by hosting, database, telephony, messaging, transcription, and AI-classification providers only to connect, classify, secure, recover, verify, and administer the call. A configured model partner may receive the transcript if the primary Cloudflare-hosted model tier is unavailable. We limit the input to the task and do not share it for unrelated purposes, except where the law requires disclosure.
5Children's Privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
6Changes to This Policy
If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
